I've got so many from this year... But probably this:


It's not something I usually photograph and got 100% lucky on the time and place I took it.

The placed is called Union Terminal, and in the 1940s it was the busiest train station in the world. It's now home of the Cincinnati Museum Center and my dad also volunteers there. Everyone at Union Terminal loves the photo (dad put a copy up in their office).

I'm pretty fond of this one. He just won the race after breaking away on the last lap. There's a few that I really really like from this race. Shooting in the rain at night was a lot of fun and made for some great images, but I really like capturing his energy here. Hopefully it says the same to people who weren't there, that's what I want to capture, and that's what makes this so difficult and fun

I just searched through my Lightroom 2012 folder for the last couple hours and while there are a lot of pics that I love... the best photo I took this year was probably with my phone.

Granted, I had a lot of stuff going on. The whole year was pretty much snapshots of moving or scenery around the new house. I really need to get on the ball this year.
