225/45x15" will fit with the right wheel. I had 15x7" Kosei K1s 45mm offset with 225/45x15" Hoosiers on and it rubbed without spacers on the front and rear. I added on a 5mm spacer and no more rubbing. But I also had 350f/400r spring rates too and lots of negative camber up front - almost -2.5 up front and -1.5 rear.
I also had 215/40x16" Hoosiers on a 16x7.5" Kosei K1 wheel with no rubbing problems. But it lowered the gearing ALOT. On the highway (breaking in the tires) in 5th gear at 65mph the rpms were around 5000-5500rpms!
Great for autocross since you are in the sweet spot.
After that experimenting I always ran 205/50x15" Falken Azenis on 15x7" wheels.
