Start with your feet off the wall about a foot or so. If that's too difficult still then you can take your feet further off the wall as necessary. The goal is to be able to squat all the way down and up with your toes touching the wall.

Thanks.
Yesterday was my first official class after the foundations course. SWOD was 5/3/1 back squats. WOD was 30 squat cleans for time. I started really light at a whopping 85 lbs since I've never done the move before. It was great and I'm hooked.
Thinking of signing up here in town...Need a change from my regular routine.
Find how many are around you. Then check and see what they do as far as free classes. Some give you one week, some give you one day. Some do a free class every Saturday and then some are just stingy assholes.
Not all Crossfit boxes/gyms are the same. Some are top notch and some are dangerously stupid. So go shopping for your coaches.
I scaled the snatches to 115. Finished in 11:46. Last week was the first time I've made it 4 days in a week. Feels good to force myself to leave the office and get to a workout this often. Beach season/bachelor parties are comin up.

WOD: 3 min row (As many calories burned as possible) - 51 1 min break 5 min AMRAP 95 lb hanging squat (i think that's it?) - 4 rounds +1 rep 1 min break 2 min Pullup max - 13 (which is terrible)

Anybody attempt 13.1 yet? I'm doing it tomorrow afternoon. I'm expecting to finish the 135s but I doubt after all the fatigue I will be able to crack into the 165s.

Not yet, tomorrow for me as well. I'm hoping to make at least a few of the 165lb snatches, as my max is 185. But who knows how I'll feel by that point.
