Incredible! (Second picture)

The first one you posted my only issue is that one tree in the background is so much brighter then the rest in the back ground. It makes like tunnel vision and I almost don't even notice the buck in the picture.

It's some weird compression issue with flickr. The .jpg on my hard drive is nowhere near that bright. \:\(

Yeah, though since hunting season just started Saturday, it's pretty easy to find whitetail in any state park or conservation area around here - a lot of deer know where to find sanctuary.

And yes, apparently the section between the trees had more light falling on it than the rest of the frame. I'm undecided if I'll do anything to darken it there.

I took a college class like 10 years ago and played with my dads 35mm camera quite a bit when I was younger. So I'm not too new at the basic concepts. I'm still figuring out the camera.

i'm unsure on the lighting on this one... taken from the front porch near sunset with some pretty hazy skies. it was really washed out straight from the camera and this is the best i could do to save it.
