Getting mine in 10 minutes, offered thru work.
Typically no adverse reactions other than a sore arm for 24 hrs... I do it pretty much every year if it's offered close to work, else I'm too lazy.

Mine is offered at work, haven't been doing it. I think I did it once 5 years ago, but that was so I can get away from my desk for 30 minutes. How is your arm sore after a flu shot?
Had mine 2 wks ago through work (hospital). But did mine for chocolates

Fucking arm is a bit numb. Bitch jabbed me while I was folding up the shirt, and I pretty much ended up oozing and squirting some blood. FML.

Im all for ragging on furball but arm soreness is quite common after needles.Has nothing to do with being a pussy, fat or looking like flexin.

got mine done a couple of weeks ago.
getting my kid stabbed with it on the 28th (she had 2 boosters on her annual check up -- i asked the doc if he can just give her the 3rd too he gave me that look; so i booked a follow up appointment ); she's a tough cookie, didn't cry at all during her shot, teared up just a bit but quickly went back to smiley mode.

^ Whatever germs the kids bring home is just plain deadly. One year, the kid was sick for 2 weeks and took down my wife; mom, bro&sis in law.
Last year I was sick for 2-3 weeks and I've never been sick that long.
Flu shots are a must.

A current flu shot really only protects from a past flu strain, not a current one, so you can still get sick.

It's funny how all the wussies who are against the flu shot don't have kids... having young children around, its almost a must. its amazing how you are still alive today. given the fact your rents never got a flu shot when you were a kid
good sanitary practices (like washing your hands frequently after being anywhere public) do a lot more for preventing getting sick imho.

Modern parenting has become an exercise in making sure the worst never happens. We arm our children against every possible harm, and we demand that their schools join in the exercise. Is it possible to go too far any more? the pussification continues
