The gas gauge in the C63 moves REALLY fast. A 1/4 tank may seem like a lot but it'll only last ~ 60 KMs (1 round trip to the mall).

this was me pulling a Kramer earlier this week. I did not run out of gas...but only 421kms on that tank. But the majority is short city driving.

I have a P5, so its 2.0
and your right, the fuel economy on it isn't that great but still not totally terrible. I would say though that it consumes about 1.5x what my hatch consumed.

and your right, the fuel economy on it isn't that great but still not totally terrible. I would say though that it consumes about 1.5x what my hatch consumed. my sister has the 1.8 engine in her Protege with Autotragic, the car barely gets over 450 km on a 45 or 50L tank. She hates that POS and the famous Mazda's rust problems
I searched and searched for mine. 98% of them are rusted to hell. Mine was krowned every year and surprisingly has no rust. I continued using krown so hopefully it stays that way for a little while. I quite like it actually. Feels well put together and rides/drives fine. The gas consumption is a bit of an issue but its not totally unreasonable.

Almost as bad as gf's 2.5i Impreza with a 11.5 L/100KM consumption.

My buddy just got a Liberty for his wife to drive 2km to and from work every day. They're getting 25L/100km.

Liberty is a huge turd and guzzles gas like crazy, yet provide zero fawking perfomance. Has got to be the worst car ever made (worse than aztek - at least it had utility).
it definitely drinks gas but 25l/100 km is nowhere near the norm. but driving once for 3 ft im sure you knew that.
