So, I'm going to be putting one in the wagon, thanks to my old motor popping. The Volvo has an AEM UEGO, but I don't know what model. I like it's simplicity (I don't need to log, etc)
Are there better options for a self-contained setup? Is there a better uego model?

a buddy of mine just picked up a complete used innovate setup including the XD1 gauge for under 200 shipped with a new sensor. hard to beat that pricing. I have been running the same setup for years.

Looks like it's 170-ish, and it uses the less-expensive bosch sensor.
That's what I use and love it. I have it in the stock location set to simulate narrowband and both idle/cruise and WOT work well. Replacement sensors are $45 at my local autozone...

Yeah I think I got the basic AEM for ~150 from ebay awhile back. very simple but effective. I just tune while driving, just glancing at the gauge and make adjustments in the laptop so I don't really use the datalogging. I think it has data logging output, but i never wired the pinout.
edit - yeah i payed 170 for it. very easy to wire up and integrate into console. lengthy o2 line as well.
I'm leaning that way, but it looks like their mtx-l is the new/improved, and self-contained unit.
I think it loses the narrowband output, though.
How was the install/setup? I had someone mention that the calibration might be a PITA?
If you're using Innovate's gauge, calibration couldn't be simpler assuming you haven't run the car in 24-48 hours *or* the wideband is out in free air. Just hit a button... done.
If you're not using their gauge, it's the install that gets trickier but only because you have to install a momentary switch to do the recal for you. Otherwise, installation is very easy. Power, a few grounds all to the same spot (as close to the ECU as possible), and the gauge just has a little stereo plug, along with it's own power/ground that you can piggyback with the main unit if you want.
I've had three of them in various cars and personally I'm comfortable with them. Cheap sensors, they can be had used for a song, and have been very consistent for me. You can log them through the Innovate software or through a third party app if said app is so configurable.
