i was going down the road at about 80 when my oil light came on and the car then died as i was pulling over. i was able to get it started again but it was running real ruff and lost all power as i was driving and then died. it tries to turn over but will not start. could this be a broken timing belt or is it something more serious? thanks for any help anyone can give me

There can be lots of reasons why it lost power. If you are not sure what to look for then it might be best to have an expert check it out. No one is going to be able to pinpoint what's wrong with your car over the internet.

Oil light coming on, losing power normally is a pretty bad thing. Most likely points to major engine component problems. Bearings/ oil pump/etc etc
