Hey all, I have'nt made a thread about my own car in quite a while, so I went out and snapped a few quickies yesterday afternoon. \:D I have a whole pile of goodies to be installed/painted/etc... So this is the last time you will see the car before Sean K a.k.a NIKE SB'd gets his hands on it.

no interior shots? overall its pretty hawt, the only thing i don't like is the license plate holder, but then i guess with your next bumper you won't have to worry about that

You know I've always loved your car Nate. Way back before this car existed, back when you used to roll around in a black Si, I always secretly wanted a silver EK. Theres just something about them... Excellent choice!

As for the car, the only thing that stands out like a sore thumb is the mismatched paint - its so hard to match silver perfectly. However, I'm assuming that when you say "paint" you're referring to a respray, so that should be fixed. Love it!

Oh, and not to bring up a sore subject, but did they ever find the remains to your old EM1? I know it had been a while and there was nothing, but just wondering... \:\(

Keep us updated during the transformation!!

Yup the cars paint is actually 4 different shades, lol. The original QP/back end, the 99-00 front end, the doors, and then the CTR parts, LOL. The doros are by far the worst, the rest is surprisingly close. It's not super noticable all the time, but it drives me fucking nuts so I'm repainting the whole car eventually still. For now, it's just a BYS bumper and Bomex wing going on as far as body parts, but the list of other things is 14 items strong.

June will be FTW. \:D

wow... car looks great... great job man

just lose the rear tow hook, those things are corny as hell (and useless too). I was a tow truck driver for a few years and I would never, ever pull a car by one of those. im surprised there isn't a teddy bear zip tied to it.

That tow hook is long gone, PCI steel hooks are in place now. They're not intended to be used for towing long distances, it's just to yank you out and get you back to the pit area if you hit a wall or go into the mud or break down or something. They're mounted solidly to the front cross member and the rear factory tow hook position so there's not really a "better" place for them. Here's a couple pix from the links I posted above in case people aren't clicking them.
