Hello again old friend/new friends. Haven't posted in here in a while I know but the car has been running damn well until about a month ago. A little back story, had some issue getting it smogged so it sat for about a month and the battery died. Now in any gear other than first, when I get hit full boost with 100% throttle open at about 6k I get a fuel cut and a check engine light flash. I can get it about 60-75% throttle and it will rev all the way to 8k. I noticed my boost gauge is only reading 0 / -1 Vac now no matter what ( it doesn't move at all ) and my A/F Gage is just reading rich. I am hoping to get some time to look at it over the weekend so I figured I would ask you guys to see if you have places to start. I am thinking its some vac leak somewhere? Thanks for any help in advance too!

i was having the same problem, with mine, but mine is due to boost creep, im spiking at my stock map sensorat 9psi. same deal under full boost/throttle it would kill the gas, but like you said at 50-70% car runs great, but i havent noticed anything with my boost controller it always reads correctly. what are you running for a map sensor

I only have 6k miles on that tune ( 5 mile commute to work and I was rotating driving a beater for while ). Could it be something as simple as this? I am going to hook up a laptop Saturday and run the hondata software to try and see if I notice anything. Maybe it is time I just called church again and setup an appointment!

It's closer to 11psi, but some freakout @ 10, or 10.5 or even a little over 11. Depends how they are calibrated and the such.

A new turn wouldn't hurt.

Get a new 3bar sensor, swap it out @ the tune and turn that shiz up!! With your setup I'd think you would be well into the 400whp on their dyno.

Sounds like I need to save up some cash and get this taken care of, Last tune they said I'm making about 10hp per lb of boost and I was thinking I could probably push 15psi so 350ish would be nice to drive around \:D Here in socal the weather doesn't really change isn't very drastic so I'm glad I don't have to do that because I would be broke at $250-$300 a tune lol. Thanks for the advice guys! Always appreciated

ya we have similar builds, but im an ls turbo, with everything rebuilt nothing is stock in my motor, its great, but like i said i dont have a lsd so i don;t know if i need anymore then 350, i could if i wasnt peg legged. ya the weather here changes like crazy so 2-3 tunes a year at 200$, it does get expensive.

The only thing I really have left besides the sensor is really just head work and idk if I wanna put more and more money into this car even though I do love it lol. I think i've hit that point of where I am content with how it runs, don't get me wrong it would always be fun to have more power but right now i'm pretty happy lol

ya i hear ya, i just got carried away and my whole project kinda snowballed into just doing everything. i may sell my head and get a gsr head, but i dont know if i want to spend any more money, and i dont really need that extra 35whp. Let me know what the problem is when you take a look at it, so i know.
