 Yup, another Furballism .... This time, expired Benylin Cough Syrup.
I hate being sick, hate even more if the solution isn't on hand, be it cough drops, Advil, or cough syrup. (Even mid-summer, if I'm out of cough syrup I'll head to SDM and pick some up. Hoarding much?)
Was supposed to be studying last night, and ended up sleeping early ... Woke up to a slight cough, feeling kind of warm, and some phlem in the throat.
Brand new bottle, says EXP SE 09

What I've been told is that drugs never actually go bad. They may become less-concentrated, but it's not like they'l make you more sick.

Yea drugs dont really go bad, they just become less effective (and by less effective very small).
Labels, companies have to put an expire date on it - liability purposes.
I have a ton of pharmacy friends. Needless to say most of my drugs are expired lol.

had my case of the migraines - the only medication i had was 3 months expired. i took it, migraine went away, i'm still alive.

Nurse/wife says it will prob taste bad because the non-medical ingredients will go bad, but the medicine will still work.
Take a shot or two whiskey and you'll sleep like a baby.

its ok, we know you can't get sick unless you want to be sick just to see what its like.
