Word!

I Traded in my xl's for some L shirts today! 11 months ago i was wearing 3xxxl from the big/tall section!

Here's to hoping I lose this last 20 quick! Now that I'm done with my 5k training I'm going to start up a sprinter program and see about shaving some minutes off of my 1mi times.

Hot damn man! Congrats on gettin' outta fatass shirts, much less that extra 20 over last time! Keep it goin!

(I on the other hand am fighting with having stalled out in progress. Middle of Aug i was 218, it's now middle of september and i'm stuck at 211/212. Been here for 2 weeks. Kinda annoying.)

Try working out 2 x a day for 2 weeks to see if that will get you over the hump! It helped me lose about 18 lbs in 2 weeks.

There's a fear there, but i'll keep an eye on it. Anyhow, this thread is about your successes. \:\)

What made you settle on the target number you did? You've been sayin' you're 20 away. Is that based on BMI, a number in your mind, BF%?

Its more of a number in my mind. My goal was 210 and I'm actually about 8lbs away from that. Looking in the mirror though, I'm thinking 200 is probably what I should be aiming for.

Don't beat yourself up on not seeing the scale move sometimes.

Be proud of the fact that every week a former fatass doesn't put weight back on is success itself.

The schedule for most adults doesn't always allow the best situations for achieving the body we want in the time we'd like.

I'd say the long term battle and the over all choices made over years is what matters.

Yep - it's all about making the best choices you can, and not moving in the opposite direction. I've been battling 5lbs since MAY. Granted, I've now lost 100lbs myself in less than a year, but being stuck is no fun regardless of how far along you are.

The important thing is to keep plugging along, and making the right decisions based on whatever plan you're following or whatever it is that you're doing to lose the weight and KEEP it off.

BTW Congratulations dude... it was only 8 months ago when you were at 269 and pretty adamant about not changing your diet. Look at you now! Way to go!

I think the best progress pic you could have taken got posted in OT. . . going from being the big guy in this thread to the Running Man in that one is pretty damned awesome. Just crosspost one of those!

I have some loose skin pretty much everywhere (upper arms, upper legs, chest / stomach, ass) but overall it doesn't look terrible.

I've been lifting weights since 3 months in though, so I have put on some muscle to fill in some of that loose skin. Had I not been lifting weights i would probably have a ton of loose skin.

I was hoping that once i got down to 200 ish my gut would be gone, but im thinking that i might actually have to get down to 180-190 to lose the gut.

I'm ready to get over this last plateau and lose the last 20-30lbs. I'm hoping to knock this out in the next 6 weeks with a > 1700 calorie diet and increasing my workouts and intensity.

My trainer has me down for 3 sessions a week but we usually miss each other one of those 3 sessions so i've got a plan B interval circuit for days that our session gets cancelled.

Here's what I'm going to try to do.

Monday - Interval Circuit @ Lunch
Monday Night - Run 3 Miles

Tuesday - 45 Minutes Step Mill
Tusday Night - Run till failure

Wednesday - Weight Training @ Lunch w/ my trainer
Wednesday Night - Run 3 Miles

Thursday - 45 Minutes Step Mill
Thursday Night - Run till failure

Friday - Off
Friday Night - Off

Saturday - Weight Training - Morning w/ my trainer
Saturday Night - Run 3 Miles

Sunday - Off
Sunday Night - Off

Nothing. We have a barter, I built him a website (still building actually), run his social media campaign, build / send e-mail campaigns for him, and I film his trainers doing either workouts / exercise moves / classes etc and i edit them / upload them to youtube / his website.

I'm also the the gym's "Jarrod" / mascot.

Wow, slowpoke and krys...amazing. Congrats.

I was going to start another thread, but I'll just celebrate with you.

199 August 10th.
159 as of today.
5-10

I am only doing 30% cardio now and 70% build. I dropped 35lbs literally in my driveway on nothing but basketball, punching bag, pushups and situps with some running in circles in the street by my house (kiddos). Now I am in a gym for the building process.

It's been a hard road and an intense 4 months. I am so much stronger and in better shape.
