Yeah leaks can be a bitch, especially here in WA. My mazda was and is leaking again on the firewall somewhere. I thought I had fixed it by cleaning out a plugged drain below the windshield, but now I have water on the passenger footwell as well, so I feel for you. Too bad you can't steam clean that engine while you have it apart! Hope you get it back together soon.
Btw I was going to post up, there is going to be a multi-forum meet at Triple XXX hamburger in Issaquah next Sunday at Noon. Should make it a clubsi northwest meet as well. If you need more details PM me but its posted on multiple forums. Would love to see you make it with the GN!

Look like a nice place to be working on the GN. Looks pretty disheartening in that condition though. OTOH, my buddy had almost every panel off his GN a few years ago, when he was going to "just clean 'er up a bit". Kinda like what Purdinia is doing with his E36M6.
What kind of FMIC is that?

I thought it was the vent drain at first as well, and when I went to clean it out I got a solid handful of tar-like substance out so I was positive that was the issue. However, the puddle came back so here I am now.
Definitely won't be able to bring it up next weekend, HOWEVER I was planning on being in Seattle next weekend anyway so this might actually work out! You'll have to settle for a measly SVT Focus

Hahahah yeah, I call that the "If you give a mouse a cookie..." syndrome, for anybody that is familiar with that children's book. It does look disheartening but I know it'll be back together soon, and my buddy's shop is definitely a great place to work.
Also, that's a PTE that I bought from our very own Trans AM WS6 420

Proper. Just get it together so that you can enjoy it this coming summer! Hell Yeah! Summer's a-comin, I can feel it in my bones. Shit, I better start getting my act together. When I put the GN away last fall, she had some ugly-sounding underhood noises that I never got to the bottom of...

What was supposed to be a short project to fix a leak at the AC box ended up with the whole front clip off.
Apparently somebody can't handle reading comprehension. There is a leak..
no, you just wrote it poorly. and left out details like this...
When it rains, the passenger footwell becomes a foot soaking pool. It just so happens that the leak is at the seal where the AC box meets the firewall If you had said that in the first post it wouldnt have read like the a/c itself was leaking.

Even if it rains, i'll still drive the mazda over wouldn't worry about any dings. It's going to be really crowded though, sounds like a lot of people from forums are showing up. I think its going to overwhelm their parking lot easily not including their regular sunday traffic.

I saw your eddie-convincing. I think he'll punt.
If you're coming up Saturday, are they driving up Sunday, or do I need to have crash space ready for everyone?

Disappointed you won't have the GN back together by then, but understand how that goes. Yeah definitely a poor car kid meet If you want ms networking, go to the Exotics at Redmond Town Center get togethers. There are some nice cars, but definitely a different atmosphere of car people for the good and the bad.

Bill, do the previous pics in this thread make you sad?
Not really man, although it reminds me of the scene in Star Wars when Vader has his helmet off
I dunno why I have such a hardon for these cars (The Typhoon and Syclone included). I got a ride in a GN exactly one time when I was younger and it was very ho-hum until the boost hit, then I almost shit my pants.
