nycironworker46 nycironworker46 Newbie Registered: 06/15/09 Posts: 18	I have a 2008 SI Coupe. I want to upgrade the suspension but i want to do it right. Im planning rear sway bar, lower tie bar, and lower brace. But what about rear lower control arms? And is it possible to do to much? Ive read you can make your car handle worse? What about full coilovers and front cross brace? Im new at this and greatly appreciate any help.

This generation Civic chassis much less flexible than the 99 one I previously had. If you are on a budget like me(most are) then I recommend rear sway bar as your first upgrade. If you are running the oem all seasons then a better set of tires should be next. Then a shock/spring combo or coilover setup if you want adjustable height would be next. So far I have Comptech rear sway, Koni shocks and Eibach prokit and the car is a much better handler than it was stock. I have the oem summers that handle well but will try something more reasonably priced next. I experienced my first winter and the summers were dangerous so probably will go for the best all season I can find next. I'll do adjustable camber too as I have enough negative camber to affect tire wear now. _________________________ Jamaica Millenium Motoring Club Jamaica Karting Association
