* * PLEASE READ THIS FIRST * *

Reply directly to my thread using the reply button at the top of this post. Do not use the reply button on other peoples posts to add a dyno plot as it makes it difficult to filter out questions directed towards people.

Also, please do not ask direct questions and answers, please use the PM feature for that.

I'm taking this idea from the folks in the N/A forum.

Please post your dyno plots (ask someone if you need a place to host the images, please use the PM feature for that) along with any specific data you can share about the engine, turbo, fuel managment and so on... Please do not link oversized images (try and limit them to no more than 80k in file size and 1024x768 in dimension, preferably no larger than 800x600) and please avoid linking from servers that will quickly block the images or very slow servers.

Also, feel free to update or add to your dyno info as things change or when you get a new dyno plot you wish to share.

I'll start:

Here is a link to the info on my car: http://www.clubsi.com/featured/siracer/siracer.shtml

Okay here is the go:

Stock Bottom End
Greddy Td05-18G With hondata S200
TONS of Blow By. could have had more power with better rings.
March 2003

There are 5 and ~9psi respectively.

The greddy Turbo is tiny compared to the Vortech supercharger.. A T3/T04B rated at the same boost, resulted in 20 more horsepower.

Dyno operator let off the gas earily to avoid the rev limiter, otherwise it looks like the peak would have hit 230 at red-line. Like the printout says, everything was stock and has remained so for a year (including the clutch). Currently averaging 22mpg. Don't worry, I've been collecting parts this past year...

Wow very nice. It looks like the Vortech on a stock application produce better overall numbers than the above Greddy kit with the Hondata.

Don't know how to post pics so here's a link of today's dyno.

Stock SI except for a civic type R cam, clutch and 8psi aftercooled kit. I was surprised by the results as were the dyno operators. He said my af ratio may improve with an exhaust system. He said at high output there may be backpressure building up causing it to run rich.small dyno sheet

This isn't my dyno sheet or my car. This is "maxpsi" on Honda-Tech's dyno sheet and car. I just wanted to post this for reference when someone asks "how much whp can a stock B16 handle?"

SAE corrected 271whp and 189 ft-lb

2000 Honda Civic EX with B16a @ 10lbs
Drag Gen III turbo kit, Walbro 255lph in-tank fuel pump, Hondata s200 with boost capability, K&N air filter, APC valve cover breather, FAL fan, removed P/S, removed C/C, 2.5" Road Race Engineering flex pipe flared to 3.00", 3.00" Random Technology high flow cat, 3.00" custom piping, 3.00" Magnaflow exhaust, NGK plugs, OEM wires, Thermal wrapped A/C lines, CM stage 1 clutch and GSR Y80 transmission.

Someone call the cops! I've been robbed. lol Thanks for posting. I was visiting the site just now, and was about to post here with the chart. AHhhh, I am glad you did though cause I still haven't found out how to resize pics. Anyways, the A/F ratio was 12.0 with a spike to 12.4 for about 200rpms. Since then I have beat a heavily modded T/A (my friend John Dodd in my car club = AERC), and also hung with a new C5 from 50mph to 110mph (damn drag coefficient). Anyways, I have the videos of those two runs. I was on 7psi of boost (running less than that low boost setting on the dyno graph).

Here are the power related mods to my 1992 GSR B17a stock motor.
Hi-tech Header 4-2-1 3" flange.
test pipe.
Skunk2 IM
Holley 68mm TB
Vortech Supercharger
8psi pulley on CRV crank for ~11psi
RSR catback exhaust
Hondata 4B
RC eng 550cc injectors
Supra fuel pump
This dyno plot was my highest horsepower but not my best plot. I fixed the dip at 4800 by lowering VTEC to 4100, I also created more power throughout the VTEC RPM range but the belt slipped off at 7300 so the peak power was not that high. Fuel tuneing will probably net me close to 300whp.

this is a little better, but this is with a blown head gasket...

Here is my dyno chart. The first graph is on race gas and the second one is on pump gas. I finally figured out the misfire problem. You can see where the misfire is on the graph with the race gas.

Setup is:

B18c-Built
60-1 T4 turbo....that is forsale by the way.

Here's mine:

229 whp @ 8,000 rpm
172 wtq @ 6,200 rpm

Precision SC50 turbo @ 9 psi .63 a/r, 9.0:1 compression motor, stock bore. Intake manifold and intercooler were burning hot on that last run.

My current tune is in green
Will turn the boost up to 15 psi next season, shooting for 300+whp.

How much do civic si weigh with a full tank of gas with do driver? My mom is considering geting a supercharger for her 85K mile 94 civic exa 5 speed. How much do civic si weigh? Mom says my car is to fast for her and too big but she would like to have more power any sugestions on how to boost the stock 125 hp to about 200 hp without making it sound like a pissed off bumble bee in a bottle? This is my cars dyno. It is a little dangerous to drive. It is a automatic If I punch it below 50 it will roast both the rear tires. what do you thin? my bird weighs in at 4150 with me in it.
