Whats about the best material to use for the car seats that will withstand constant abuse and still have some amount of a clean look instead of that typical walmart seat cover look?

Just fyi, this forum is sorta slow...there will be days go by with no posts so you cant expect an immediate answer.

With that being said, Im a HUGE fan of Alcantara. Although it is pricey it has an outstanding look to it.

I went to a upholstery shop and the guy does leather and vinyl. The price for the vinyl which is cheaper than the leather is $800 for both. So I am really in a bind here. I have a 98civic Ex with 98 Del Sol seats and the origional fabrique that came with the del sol seats is all worn and torn. Im currently using seat covers and I just dont like the feel of seat covers vs the natural feel of the regular covers.

ohhh boy, i don't want to get flamed which im sure I will. lol you might wanna do a google search for Shining Monkey Fabric / leather protector. You will see a bunch of reviews of women who use this stuff on their high end LV, Gucci, Fendi purses. It isn't cheap like others but it really is the best stuff you can possibly get. Check it out hope that helps.
