anybody have any experience with throttle body spacers? i know theyre not expensive, but is it even worth the little money? any proven HP gains?

I added one on our 05 Pathfinder along with the intake and exhaust. I didn't notice any difference, I wouldn't buy another one.

Works well with my home made X-Intake SRI. My SRI didn't run as good without it.
I forgot why, but the installer suggested I change the bolts P2R provided. He's an experienced mechanic and a mechanical engineer so I trust his opionion. Changed them with ones from Orchard Supply Hardware.

It's not necessary, it's just another mod to add on. I think there is some modification involved to make it fit a CAI.
