What do you guys use? I'm almost fresh out, and have quite a few cars to detail this week, so I need to order it today. I know this doesn't get much traffic, but any replies would be awesome.
I like the idea of the optimum no rinse, but that wouldn't help for initial washes on customers cars, which is what I use it for the most. For this reason, I'm really leaning towards Chemical Guys. However, they have tons of different products, so I wanted to see if anyone else was using their stuff. I'm inbetween their Citrus Wash and Gloss and Maxi Suds II. It says that the citrus wash works great for paintwork prep, so I don't really want to use that on my car thats always freshly waxed, right? But will the Maxi Suds clean well enough to prep the paint before I detail on my customers cars? Am I going to be forced to buy both?

Citrus Wash sounds like it has degreasing agents, and if it's great for prepwork then that must mean it strips all the old wax and other junk, like dish soap. Not good unless you're about to detail the car.
I've used a shitload of soaps over the past 15 years or so. Honestly, any automotive-specific soap is fine. Wax jobs are going to deteriorate because of the elements. One soap doesn't really preserve your wax/sealant longer than another soap will, IMO. You'll need to detail again before that would happen. Also, the quality of a wash depends on you, not the soap.
There are big differences between waxes, polishes, and most other detailing products. With car wash soap, however, I just buy whatever Costco has by the gallon. Currently it's Turtle Wax Ice.
edit - for customer cars, you want to strip all the old shit. And yes, you are correct, you don't want to use that soap on your freshly detailed car, so you need to have both on hand.
That said, I still stick by the old school method... wash with Dawn dish soap, then rinse and re-wash with automotive soap. This works great, and I bet you already have dish soap anyway.

CG's Citrus Wash and Gloss. Works bitchin. It is super concentrated so too much will strip LSPs off of paint. I believe you need 1-2 oz for 5 gallons.. Works great though, lots of suds too. Get the CG W&G, you'll be happy with it. 
Shit, I just placed my order for the maxi suds a few hours ago. Oh well, maybe next time.
