I dont have any good footage due to my having to leave the car w/ Slowmotion Motorsports for over a month. I was never able to get video of the later pulls.

It is a long story but to sum things up...........

The Epm, Direct fire and AEM never worked correctly or something was wrong in the configuration that the AEM Tecs. and Corey could not work through. I ended up switching to the S300.

I was not happy in the beginning due to the fact that I have almost a grand wrapped up the ignition to try and solve some of the same issues that the AEM ems has w/ stock ignition cam and crank sensors. All of this time and money went to try and fix something that caused more problems. I still dont know what to think of the whole ordeal. I wrote Jeff Evans about any probs. he may have had w/ this new setup and he has tuned a handfull w/ no probs.

I have to admit now I think the S300 was the wiser choice for my setup but I have owned the AEM for four years and didnt see any reason to sell it and use Hondata. Especially when C.O.P. would have been nice............

Anyways, The engine runs very strong Sounds Great............. Oh Yeah....By the way the GT30R was A great decision, also if anyone is kicking the idea around of a purchase on a 30R, DO IT..... .63 A/R made 500WHP w/ A little room to go on Race gas. Excellent spool and very unique sound........

Thanks to everyone on great info over the years. I couldnt have done this build w/out you.

Also to all that cant learn to read the faq and research, this can be done w/ a little mechanical ambition and little knowledge to start with.
I built this whole car using research and ambition w/out ever seeing the inside of a block before.

It feels a whole lot better to stand back and tell someone that your little 1.6L civic makes 500 hp to the wheels and then tell them you built 99% of it.

The look on their face = Priceless \:o

That is the aeremotive filter. I am using the full-blown dual walbro setup....

lol, j/k. very nice numbers and good looking setup. i see you said 1.6l making 500whp. i assume it's not bored over which makes this even more of an accomplishment. makes me wonder if my dc2 was the right choice. i had the first em1 on the east coast in 1/99 until march where my other friend picked his up from largo honda. that has been my FAVORITE car out of the 12 i've owned. it felt pretty good being the only one on the streets with this ride, slammed on rims and type r cams at that.

nonetheless, this is your thread not mines. great car (i'd lower it a bit more (unless the dp clearance is an issue like my dc2)). keep up the good work.

and yeah, i like your IC. \:D

I think this is a really nice setup....
Its a little pricey

Its a little tricky to get into the tank without dropping the allen screws in.
I ran an 8AN feed to the fuel rail and a 6AN return. I also ran two seperate 12G Power wires from the battery to a relay at the tank.
These are not quiet by any means and if you plan on utilizing your rear seat you would probably have to either cut the seat itself or use other fittings which could make this a pain in the ass........
All in All very pleased w/ this setup....... ;\)

You could cut the foam out on the rear seat and I'm sure it would be fine so it wouldn't look stripped.

I never let anyone sit back there anyway..to much extra weight..lol

That is until I meet the Z06 then I'LL flick the button... ;\)

That is what makes E85 so great... No need for race gas.. I run 17pnds all day long and if you need high boost @ 26psi for 500whp....

I cant complain at all

Yeah man...380whp is plenty you think. Just past 130k miles on odometer myself;my car has been daily driven to death for 10yrs... just 300whp. Which I still think is damn fast for me daily...LOL!

So were both hp #s made on e85 or just the higher boost setting only reason I ask is cause the dyno graph says 17 psa on pump gas and the the other on e85

The E85 and 93 oct. tune consists of............

boost controller OFF being spring press @ 9 psi - 93oct & E85
Low boost @ 17 psi - 93oct & E85
High boost @ 26 psi - E85

I have a toggle switch in the glove box to bounce between E85 and 93....
I will empty the tank and use 93 only if E85 is not available on long distances and I never drive it more than 50 miles from my house....... ;\)
