I wanted to create a new thread so I can post the latest PICs and information on my engine build and a glance of the Swift Turbo kit. The engine is complete and installed minus the wiring. All the pipe, exhaust and exhaust manifold fabrication is 98% complete. *Note that all the parts you see in on the car may or may not be available for the production kit. The exhaust is placed along with the downpipe and wastegate. Over the next few weeks the Haltech, gauges, boost controller, wideband and Fuel system will be installed. More PICs once those parts are installed.
This has been a pleasure to work with Mo at Swift Racing on this long process. I’ve learned so much over the course of tearing and building up the K20Z3. Cars has always been a passion and finally had the opportunity to create a unique car. I have always been a Mustang person since I was 14 and owned approximately 19 since that time. This is my first attempt in the ricer market and hope that this build can answer some of those nagging questions and over time someone can take this build one step further.

Darton East K20 Sleeved Block
Stock Crank (Balanced)
Pistons are installed. Leak tested and holding 9.0:1 compression with no leaks. 88mm bore resulting in a displacement of 2092.3cc.
The Stock Oil pump was modified to increase the oil flow. Pockets where placed on the block underneath the oil pump to help with cavation.

Swift Racing Stage 3 Race port. The stock Honda heads are amazling huge. I wish I had closer PICs of the port but there are smooth and very sharp on the inside. Amazing port job!! And done by hand!
I planned to use Ferrera Valve train to complete the head. Spring, titanium retainer and 1mm oversize valves. Too bad it will only look like this before startup!
The head passed the leak down test with no leaks and after being decked the compression has dropped to 8.75:1 compression.

As you can see the motor is back in the car. I forgot to take PICs of the CAMS before they were installed so I hope these PICs will do them justice. BC Stage 2 Turbo CAMS.

Swift Racing Custom Tubular Turbo Exhaust Manifold. I have several angles below
TiAL wastegate and placement with the Exhaust Manifold. Talk about a tight fit.

Quick Glance at the intercooler piping for the Swift Kit. Still waiting on the TiAL BOV so more PICs to come.
Kept my front bumper support and no modifying required! Good for 650WHP+

OK. Here's the link to the first Dyno run @ swift. I will post the Dyno sheets to most of my runs later this evening; along with some other random pics from the build. Enjoy.
Remember this is the first run. In the middle of converting the other runs and uploading to youtube.

Here's the last run from yesterday even! Want to thank Mo @ swift and all the other mechanics that was part of the build. This run hit a peak of 21.5psi running to 8600 rpm. The head is built for more and plan to upgrade to the RSX oil pump is in the works for this winter. Remember the car is only 90% complete. Had to try to break the 500whp range so one last run!

Had the car retuned with the VTEC and fixed a small issue with boost creep. The car put down 420whp on 14psi and 526/340 on 20.5 peak.
Video of the Dyno run and Dyno sheet will be posted later this evening or tomorrow.

I'm using the Haltech E8v2 standalone ECU.
The Haltech E8 ECU is an ECU capable of controlling sequential injection on 2 and 4 cylinder with semi sequential 6 and 8 cylinder applications. With 8 channels capable of controlling injection and ignition duties, the E8 can support most modern engines with multi-coil ignition systems, as well as conventional distributor ignition systems. In addition to controlling fuel and spark, the E8 can control various auxiliary engine functions.
And yes.. I'm still using the stock TACH and gauges.. That will change when I install the AIM XL Strada for all my gauges. This does work with the immoblizer and I have several check engine lights.
