Just wondering some things about Buffalo, I was contacted about a job up there and I am considering it. So if you can give me some advice on the location I would appreciate it.

Weather how is it.
things to do?
apartments is there a shortage? whats the average for a studio
I was looking on several home sites and all the houses were pretty old is this common for the city.
How is the traffic
is the citty very spread out or close together?

thanks

I have not been there in years but in college used to date a girl from there.
Weather is all I would say I can still comment on since it prob has not changed. Summers get warm like in the 80 and 90's winters extremely cold and alot of snow.
Spring and fall are nice

Well since I am from Buffalo I can chime in on this!
I guess it all depends where you will be living, and what kind of work you will be doing? Probably the best thing that we have going for us is that the bars are open till 4am m-s, Fort Erie Canada is about 10 min away, Niagara Falls is about 20 min away, all depending on where you live in the city or burbs.
Weather BLOWS!!!! Winters are cold and long, summers are short and humid!!!! No in betweens really. Right now its humid as all hell.
Import scene is OK nothing spectacular. you wont be seeing a lot of civic's here with Regas, CPR's or BYS or any high end JDM parts!!! Rota and junk like that
