Here's the short of my story -

I'm 25 - self employed: Web Design/Video/Photography -
I have been in business for going on my 26th month and business is good -

I've LOVED my 2004 WRX for the past two years - but just sold it to someone for TOP dollar and couldn't have asked for a better deal. I sold it because the price was better than I knew I would ever get for it again and it was at the critical point of depreciation . . . got $15,250 for it.

I currently owe 19k towards my business loan (PRIOR TO SELLING MY CAR) and nothing on housing or credit cards. Nothing.

I am in LOVE with hondas and their reliability - I've driven quite a few 2006+ Civic Si's and am VERY impressed with the build quality - however they are pricey and my concern is that coming away from a 290 hp WRX that I will slowly start missing that Power -

I'm currently considering either: A) Buying a beautiful 2000 Civic Si ALL STOCK with 74k miles for $9000

B) Buying an 06-07 SI for (what? about 19500?) not real sure.

I'm wondering what you guys recommend - Should I pay off the load with the Money I got for my car, and then finance the 10k for the 2000 model? or should I keep my loan - pay it off in a REALISTIC 16 months and put the 14,500 towards a new SI?

How much fun is a 2000 civic SI to drive VS a 2007 si?

Man, no replies? This forum must not be as active as I had hoped!!

I'm just wondering - is the $$$ Difference between a PRISTINE 2000 Civic Si and a 2007 Si worth it??

I realize the technicalities (LSD, K20, Stability control, etc . . ) I'm wondering what you guys think about how Modifiable a 2000 civic si is.

Thanks!

It sounds like your deciding based on money... in which case a new car is never your best bet.
