My MR stickered for $37k The new GSR is around $34k
I think the price is decent from year to year but you aren't getting much in the way of dash molesting...maybe a little more with the X.
Danl do you like AMS more than Buschur? I see what you are saying about Buschur, ETS and a few others have posted 400+whp stock turbo evo's (all with piston work) and he has to post his "this is the highest ive seen on my dyno and is smooth as butter" stock turbo ix

Not lean, rich, then he pastes a bunch of 8's into the timing map and cranks the timing WAYYYYY to high 6000rpm's on.
I had a few friends in Vegas who went out to Cali to get tuned by Al. Biggest mistake ever. Those guys actually made less power and were still running rich as hell. Took my buddy like 8 months for Al to come out and fix his tune. Al said his wideband had a bad sensor making it seem like the car was leaning out when in reality it wasn't. Fuck that guy.

Hate to threadjack-but at these power levels the Evo X has poor trapspeeds for it's ET because it's got really aggressive gearing, and this means you either ride the limiter or you're in 5th gear through the traps. I didnt watch the video, but IIRC these guys posted that they went for 5th instead of banging the limiter all the way through.
It appears the 8s and 9s will be better for drag racing.

What about the DSG versions? Strong enough? How good is the clutch etc? No one knows yet. Just a ton of rice boie speculation over on EVOm.
I'm interested in seeing how it holds up to bolt-ons, etc. though...
