patsmears_07_SI patsmears_07_SI Poster Registered: 01/10/07 Posts: 224 Loc: NW Burbs	Wondering about the Progress 22mm Rear Sway bar kit. I've seen mixed reviews online so I'm wondering if anyone here is using the kit and how they like it? I tried searching and found nothing and every time I set the time to 1 year I get a page can not be displayed so if this is a re-post a link would be greatly appreciated. My biggest concern now is if this mod will be as good as most people say for auto-x. Everyone running si's out here are in stock class and my CAI bumps me up. Hoping the rear sway bar, high performance summer tires, and Improved Driving(probably biggest mod) can make me more competitive for this upcoming season. Then exhaust, then header, then reflash, and then and then and then... AX-NY'06Si AX-NY'06Si Jr Member Registered: 09/19/06 Posts: 621 Loc: Southern NY State	If you are running with SCCA, I believe that you can go to STX with a CAI and rear sway if you stay with Azenis RT615. I don't usually run with SCCA, but do attend one or two events per year. Last year, since I didn't have R-comps or any other performance mods GS or STX didn't make much sense. Next year I will probably go with RT615s, Sway Bar and HFP suspension, which should be close to perfect for STX, which makes alot more sense than ESP. _________________________ '06 NBP Si w/ OEM fogs '06 Mazda 3S GT

zachys zachys Post Master Jr Registered: 03/28/06 Posts: 1641 Loc: 191whp 139wtq	I have this and love everything except the ride...OMG it's harsh but it makes the car far better in handling...I recommend it....the talk of the breakage was with the bracket for the end links. He made a DIY on the fix and hasnt had any problems. Since our cars have a limited slip basically anything you change besides to stock size aftermarket rims and I think some body modifications puts you in STX. You can stay in STX with stock size replacement rims (17 or 18) and I can't remember if it's X7.5 or X8? The sway bar, header and exhaust also keep you in class. I am not certain about the Hondata reflash, but that won't be until I hit the 36,000 mile warranty mark so I'll look into it then. My friend runs an rsx-s with that set-up plus adjustable suspension and kicks my ass in STX, and he has an after-market limited slip, so if you're doing suspension/tires/sway bar it will definitely make the car competitive in class. Let me know how you like the HFP suspension. Zachys: Thanks for the comments about ride and performance. I'm glad you aren't having problems with your sway bar regarding breakage or performance. Did you weld any support when you installed or did you just install the sway bar? Probably to be on the safe side I'll add some support.
