Interior is hard to keep clean, 3rd gear, the shifter knob gets way to hot from being in the sun (3rd degree burns FTL) Door panels are fading already, and I hate the space age speedometer. Love the tac though!

Friends don't see it when backing up
Horn not loud enough to stop friends from backing up
Paint not strong enough to prevent damage from friends backing into my car
It doesn't fix scratches like my iPhone does (seriously, my phone had three scratches on the screen and they actually went away)
other than that a lockable and lit glovebox would be nice, and they should choose different A/S tires

1. Lack of front camber and adjustability.
2. Lack of headroom for helmet.
3. Third gear grind.
4. Paint chips easily.
5. Lack of low-end torque.

I've owned mine for a month now and I'd say I dislike:
- The interior has others have said
- My gear shifts are hard, and feel a bit grindy
- Rev hang annoys me
- Starting it up and having to sit like 12 minutes every single time I start it up...even on a hot day
- Some loud pop or bump noise on the driver side suspension area everytime I go over a speedbump or down from an decline to a level surface.
- The rear speakers rattle back there...
- I actually just broke my prongs that held one of my license plate LEDs in place with very little force.

-no low end power
-third gear is a little notchy
-as you all have said the interior is hard to keep clean
-every little scuff shows on the door panels
-rubber grips on the clutch f*** my shoes up
-sound system is fuzzy at times
-flower rims
-GAY HORN
-dash is too deep (but i guess it has to be to give the windshield that sleek look = D)
-the chrome on the exhaust gets exhaust residue on it and it makes me have an OCD trip
-shift knob gets hot and gets unexplained scratches
other than these minor setbacks, i love the car to death

No torque, stupid rev hang, the worst blind spot ever! and having to granny shift into second so that the gay tranny wont grind, other than these things the car is awesome.
BTW ive driven the gti and the only thing it has that the si dont is torque. it handles, drives and looks like shit though i will give it that much.

Rev Hang and how Honda won't help me with it, electronic throttle in general (not precise enough), 3rd gear, no low end at all, and the general ricer image these cars still have...
but i'm getting 26 mpg in mixed heavy footed driving and these engines are solid as hell. I like the GTI but I'd simply be too afraid to own a modded one out of warranty or at least over 60k

i agree with the cheap paint , third gear grinding and no low end torque, everything else seems to be personal preference from driver to driver (i.e. how the speedo/tach is set up)
oh and i also have unexplained scratches on my shifter knob, i don't wear any rings i don't know wtf its from. But i put a lint free cloth that came with an old pair of sunglasses (to put them in when they aren't being used) around the shifter when it gets real hot, that helps so at least im not burning my hand anymore. And it doesn't really interfere with my shifting in any way...
