Decided on Simply given how popular they are on RFD. Also cuz they $300 cheaper than even Costco.
Getting pricing simple enough. Online list. And confirm. Deposit. Done.
They fucked my staggered wheels by putting the wider ones on the passenger side.
Then after fixing that I had to come back cuz they don’t know how to use an air pump. One tire was 8PSI too low….
The guy was trying to blame the dealer for installed incorrect shit.
So ... summary is, if you're Risky, Tasty, or someone that knows their shit, go for the deals. If you're furball or iamfob, skip it....
Here's what got fucked up:
- installed my staggered wheels wrong. (rear wide wheels installed on passenger front/rear) ... the wheels themselves are staggered/offset different, but the tires themselves are the same size on all 4 corners (says so on the door tag too)
- after switching the wheels (and rotating the tires as they're directional), no one reset the TPMS again, so my fronts are reading as the left side front/rear
- tires were all under inflated by 4-8PSI ....
- keyed lugnuts were not re-installed, they were put back with the key in the trunk (which took me 15 mins to find)
... Don't need this kind of stress man. Next time just going to let the wife pay dealer prices and fuck it. (She will argue back with fuck winter tires, just drive on the all seasons.)
