Which one? PowerBlocks give the weird vibe with the hand in the enclosure, and BowFlex are just too long...
It's unfortunate that most if not all of these 'adjustable' dumbbells 'shift' as you're lifting, i.e. the weights aren't 100% tight...
I'm aware both of these have plastic weights
Not ideal, but these adjustable DBs fit the bill.

Feels 100% like a normal iron dumbell.
Only thing that sucks is really quick weight changes, but even that really isn't so bad after you get the hang of the system.

Agree the Ironmaster is much better than anything else
