Fenix 5x

I am finishing grad school and my wife asked for gift ideas. Really thinking about the Fenix 5x, anyone have it already or a few years with the Fenix 3hr? Would love any feedback or other GPS watches that can be worn 24/7, i.e. on the job.

I love my Fenix 3hr Sapphire, the 5X doesn't justify the price tag above it though.
Pick up a bargain 3hr Sapphire instead.

to add: I wear mine 24/7, love it so much I bought my wife one too to replace her crappy fitbit.
We both wear ours 24/7 for everything from Running, cycling, strength training, bootcamp, formal wear etc etc
I Can't praise them highly enough

Well shit, thanks for the reply but I ended up getting the Fenix 5X a week after I posted this. So far I love it, the more I play with it I do agree I probably would have been fine with the Fenix 3HR, but the maps on this thing is really fucking cool.
