Anyone down for a 'beer mile' just for fun
|
Find a track (HS say)
Put up a table around the inside of lane 1
Put down 4 un-opened beers, no lite beers please (pussies :D)
Have somebody film you
Timer starts with you standing next to the table, ready to grab the first beer.
Pop and chug, turn beer upside over your head to demonstrate its empty
Throw empty beer into trash can next to the table (what are we animals?)
Run lap 1 (should be 1/4 mile if you stick to lane 1/2)
Chug the next beer when you get next to the table
Repeat through the last lap
Men's record is like 4:47, women's 6:3x I believe
Perhaps we can get a few here to try and post a vid? Art I'm looking at you man
No biggee if you spew, but consider a do-over on a different day lol

I don't know, the guy with the current record takes 5-7 seconds to finish each beer IIRC, this may be sort of a tailor-made Art contest.
I think I can beat risky
(yes I know he is russian, but I'm Irish well call that a tie here :D)

I just read about this. I can run a quick 400 lap and chug a beer, but combining them 4 times might be shitty for me.

No cardio, all swole action...I don't even know if I can run one lap
4 laps and 4 beers, even if I was in shape I wouldn't do it, that can't end well.

I just got invited to a vertical beer mile.
Just under a mile, almost 600 feet of vert.
The worst part is its a 2.5 mile hike to the starting point.
Thats gonna be an interesting hike/roll back down.

I'd really like to take on Chris for it. I know he's 20%(or more) faster than me while moving.
But I'm pretty sure I'm 50% faster guzzling beers than him. Hell he might pass out by the 3rd lap...

pretty sure he has the speed in spades. I think from some of his 70.3 experience he was holding 5:40 miles for the half at the end of it all [after doing like 29 lol mph on the bike], so I figure he has a 4:xx in there easy
