Looking to buy used...What year?

I was considering buying a used Si, and wanted to know what year would be best. I've heard plenty of people bad mouthing the current model, but no one has mentioned what model year is considered the best.

08 and above. 06-07 is fine but they had some early model glitches with the transmission.

What's the newest that's still considered a good year? Would you suggest sticking with a 2008-2010?
