This is pretty neat news. If it is true, I can't wait to see the high ISO performance.

I'm not completely ready to invest in a Sony mirrorless and metabones adapter, but holy crap the sensor on this thing looks impressive:

I wonder if Nikon will get their own version of this sensor.
Something else that is great that I noticed in the specs is that the continuous video recording is listed as being Ninety minutes! On previous DSLR cameras, the sensor over heats at around the 27 minute mark.

I've had the Nex 6 for almost 2 yrs and considered buying the A7R when it was released this past yr. Glad that I held out...will definitely pick this up when its released.

I was holding out for the next big A mount camera. I should probably work on my skills or lack thereof before I go buying another body. lol
Here are some comparison pictures from the A7s just posted on the web...
Take note that even at ISO 6400, the room is totally dark aside from the window...
Not too shabby!
