Bikes

I was just wondering if any auto-x groups would let me ride my motorcycle on a course, non-competitively of course. I have been searching for a motorcycle version of autocross and have been unable to find one so far.

Absolutely not.

Re: Bikes

I kind of guessed that would be the answer, just thought I would check.

Re: Bikes

The problem is you see cars spinning and understeering which of course the worse can happen is you end up backwards or hit a couple of cones. On a bike you can end up on the ground or worse. Plus our insurance only covers vehicles with 4 wheels not 2.

Re: Bikes

I guess thats why I haven't been able to find any motorcycle versions of autocross, especially with the expensive plastic bodywork on sportbikes, and all the people who still refuse to wear gear.

Thanks for the quick response.

Re: Bikes

There's always track days with NESBA, WERA, and others I think.
