This will be my 2nd Fiat. We had a non-Abarth auto and we got rid of it when we were having our first child. Quebec car. PPI done prior. One owner who was older, clean carfax, dealer serviced still, 63,000km and MANUAL. Driving the RDX and Q3 was taking the life out of me and I've always wanted a convertible so I pulled the trigger. Paid $11,000. The car is pretty fun to drive and the exhaust note is pure jokes. The thing is straight pipe from the factory. Met the guy in Kingston to do the sale/transfer as it I didn't feel like staying in Montreal for a day while covid was increasing in late September. The car is in the garage so no actual photo...here is what it is...grey but with white decals. https://www.motortrend.com/cars/fiat/500c/2017/ Road coverages is off now. Can't wait to drive it around more in the summer with the top down. |

That's actually pretty cool, they sound kind of awesome with an exhaust. Congrats. |

this thread is worthless w/o pics. my bro in law had one before he traded his in for a family car. He beefed up the suspension components and sticky tires. The fiat was like driving a go-kart hugging tightly on corners. So, my question to you - was this a midlife crisis purchase? lol have fun w/ the new toy and congratulations. |

I know what you mean about driving shitty CUV's. They are great for hauling stuff around, but man are they ever shit to drive. |

Thanks! Totally mid life crisis buy for sure. I can see a 911 in the cards later in life but I don't want to be too old to enjoy. There is also a factor of college fund for the kids so realistically, it really wouldn't make sense to hold out on a car I may never get. The Abarth has 4 seats so in theory, i can use it to take a drive with the family. Another plus is that it isn't an exotic. I don't have to kill my back getting in and out of. |

A 7-year-old Fiat from Quebec? I hope you beat the odds! 😜 Also, pics! They are hot little hatches. |

Buddy of mine had one. Slightly modded, tires, suspension and a tune. Its was a total hoot to drive. Being tall, I found the driving position very odd. You sit very upright and the wheel is at an odd angle. I found myself looking over the windshield frame with the top open lol. He's got a newer Maserati sedan as a daily too. |

what site do you guys use to host pictures again? Originally Posted By: Senor Eduardo_82 A 7-year-old Fiat from Quebec? I hope you beat the odds! 😜 Also, pics! They are hot little hatches. I wasn't planning to get one from QC but I was looking in Ontario forever and there just wasn't many that came up at any price range. I had a pre-purchase inspection done and it came back perfect minus the battery that the old owner switched and paid for. There were at least 4 or 5 that was available at the time. All others were from street corners and from dealers who had bodyshops. This was one was one owner, he gave me the dealer service invoices (I don't even take my cars to the dealer after warranty). Carfax came back fine, interior was super clean. Came with Weather Tech mats, extra sets of Bosch wipers. Just a well looked after vehicle. Originally Posted By: The Postman Buddy of mine had one. I am not going to lie, I felt beat up a little after driving it back from Kingston. Old bones. |

This car is a good catch. People are sleeping on how fun these cars are. Full of charm and character. Has performance, but not so performance focused. It delivers more joy than what can be seen from sheer #s. Exhaust note is perfect, and arguably the best sounding turbo 4cyl around. Looks sweet too. Recognizable from so far away (!). The Fiat has all of the traits of a fuckboi sports car, and at the same time is not a fuckboi sports car. Nice untraditional pick |

Thinking about this thread, what other cheap/fun cars are out there that are commonly overlooked? This is a perfect example. I've been on/off looking at 07-08 TL-S, I miss my 07 TL played with the idea of getting a manual one just for shits and giggles. Very hard to come by unmolested cars not located in Brampton. |

saw a clean stock white tl type S in 6spd the other day. car still looks good. i've been digging the new miata lately. overlooked car imo. |

miatas can get fucked, talk about fuckbois |

talk about lame, but whenever I see a clean EK with k20/boost swap I fantasize about dropping some money on one. To me it's the perfect fuck around car. |

My old one was the EXACT same colour so I had to do something to make it look different. Don't hate that it isn't perfect. The white thing on the mirror is just a garbage bag for the sticker film and the triangle thingie above the sticker on the door is just tape. Its not the best picture. I did this when it was the last warm day before the snow. |

I thought about a Miata too (I like your green one) but 2 seats would mean it would be hard to take the family for a nice drive with the top down. |

I hear good things about the first Gen Audi TT 3.2. I think its the same motor as the R32 Golf. (same platform as well I think but don't quote me on that) Personally a little too old to for me but from what I've read, if maintained, could be pretty reliable and fun. |

Good call on the TT, definitely overlooked. Look pretty cool too. Abarth looking great, really like that grey too. |

So what's going on w/ the Porsche project of yours? Were you able to find a motor or donor car? http://forums.clubsi.com/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/9683688 I bumped the thread. |

I got rid of it, worked out well, guy who bought it had a spare built motor for it so I was happy to see it go. Building a Porsche is no easy task, I also wasn't in love with the car. I am partial to 911's, but even going through the experience with this car somewhat turned me off from the Porsche brand. Still a top favourite, but the ROI on money spent for what you get sucks. That said the premium is for owning the brand/shape/etc so I am not ruling it out for now, but got other stuff in mind. |

The ones on the car were dated 2013. I think he was sold old tires. |

What 911? The IMS bearing issue? |

it looks good with the sticker. black would look good too but it's not like it's a crazy decal so the white looks clean. |

Thanks! Black was my 2nd choice since it would have went better with the roof. Gotta wait until spring to bring her back out. |

A2B....I'd say lets race your abarth against my Mini next summer but alas my car will probabaly break down if we did that so its a no go. Actually, now that I said that my car will likely spontaneously burst into flames in my garage despite not being started for a month. |
