Hyun Jin Ryu is a pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays. The Jays signed him during the off-season and he is a great pick-up for the team. Thanks for posting the link, I'll be watching it later on today. Let's see how the Jays do this season and hopefully they will secure a playoff spot. Off-topic, what Korean restaurants do you recommend in the west end? |

Off-topic, what Korean restaurants do you recommend in the west end? Sorry, that link only shows 5 minutes of the show and no subtitles. and sorry again, I don't know Korean restaurants very well. I have been to one Korean place in Mississauga and that was horrible fake food. (Seoul House; Not associated to Seoul House by York Dale) Heard Owl of Owl of Minerva is decent, and maybe Sikgaek as well. Haven't been to either of them. Korean places in Toronto are generally so so. L.A or N.Y City, they do better. |

Issues of Korean places in Toronto is that they try to do too much. I just looked at their menu, they alone are making what 3 or 4 different specialty restaurants would make in Korea. Korea noodle + Korean fried chicken + Korean + Korean Chinese = Song Cooks It can't be all good. Mo' Ramyun near Vaughan Mills another Korean hybrid place. They do Ramen, Korean ,one Korean Chinese dish, fried chicken. Tried Bibimbap and fried chicken. So bad. Seoul House by Yorkdale is not too bad. Only one of few Korean restaurants I find myself visiting a couple times a year. They replace charcoal grill with gas, so not as good as before though. They do sushi + Chinese as well, lol |
