Who likes the lowered speed limits?

Not me.
The road I drive to work on went from 60 to 50. As if 60 wasn't slow enough already. At least everyone is ignoring it and still going 60-70.
Is this causing anyone else problems? I think we should be increasing the speed limit as what use to take 3 mins to drive now takes 15 mins. Crazy

They lowered a bunch from 80 -> 70 in Brampton. Doesn't make a difference.

You mean driving 70 istead of 80 doesn't make a difference or people are still doing 80 regardless and the change didn't make a difference?

I haven't noticed reduced speed limits around me. Still go with flow of traffic regardless.

Agree that Brampton and Markham have the worst drivers that go under the speed limit and basically don't know how to drive. That's a whole other issue

sheppard ave went from 60 to 50. not like it matters anyway since all the fobs drive 30 and the road is so broken that your car will fall apart at 35.

lol as if these are magical places where people can't drive.
Anywhere from Oshawa to Hamilton and Lake Ontario to Caledon/King City/Stouffville, "no one can drive".

I think my area was one of the hardest hit as far as reduced speed limits go. 50kph is just too slow, but i'll admit that i do it because i feel as if they will blitz these new limits with popo running speed traps. IMO its stupid. Traffic is bad enough and the powers at be want us all to drive slower. 60kph on a main road is fine. 30-40kph on side/residental roads makes sense because people (not that kids even play outside anymore) but 50 on a major road is stupid. Whoever thought of this should be fired from gov't.
in short, i hate it.

they put 5 speed bumps in a stretch like 200m on a side road where no one even speeds.
