I tried to get this deal last time around and was shot down due to being current customer. I did manage to lower my bill for all 3 services to 199 a month with lowered my bill 20 bucks a month and upgraded my internet speed 10 times.
Current speeds on speedtest.net are 890mb download with 45 upload.
So even if you get turned down (which i did 3 different times) ask for something.

Hmm, ok thanks. It's a little too rich for my blood, I don't use enough to justify that. Current plan is 100mbit for 60 bucks, I'll likely hang on to that for a bit.

Thanks. Just went through that thread, and found out the deal was extended to March. And though it is apparently for existing customers with either TV or Internet, new customers have gotten the deal as well. Looks like i'm going to battle with these fuckers.

I have the Gigabit, but all my devices get 60Mbps down max, 40Mbps up
,wired or wireless. A bit faster 5G connection which is always out of the range.
Wired directly to the Rogers modem with a short cable, ya some hundreds Mbps.

Bell is 100x worse than Rogers in that regard. Install for my Fibe 50/Fibe TV took about 2 weeks, and was lied to by customer service, a supervisor, retention, retention manager, and even by their Ray Donovan Mr. Fix it.

Round 2 fail. Now that I brought up the fact that the deal was extended to March 31, and that I was told 24 hours ago that the deal had expired, they then told me its not available via customer care and only via door to door sales ppl.
Awaiting a response from Management. Which will probably lead me to the Office of the President. Which will give me the fuck you and direct me to the Office of the Ombudsman.

Round 3 with two managers failed. They offered the same services at $125.99/month. Told them to fuck off (not really lol).
Contacted one of the field sales reps that posts on the RFD forums, and he got it done for me the next morning.
Now i'm stuck with robbers for another 2 years lol

My contract just recently expired and I was considering cutting cable and going with someone like Telsavvy for Internet and home phone. However when you do the math this plan is much better. True I don't need anywhere near this Internet package not that many TV channels but anything more simpler/basic would still come to roughly the same price.
Did anyone successfully add this to their existing account? Are you in a co tract already?

I was w/ Teksavvy for a long time and I did not get a gold star sticker for being their customer. Oh darn those bastards! However, I made the switch over to start communication, cable 60, unlimited for 60 bucks a month. Their customer service and service reliability has been top notch.

Called Rogers to see what's up and he didn't even try to offer better. Their Ignite 500 internet + tv and phone would be more than I'm paying now. Ignite 150 would be slightly cheaper than what I pay now. Guess I'm moving over to Bell.

i was paying too much for the bell best package and unlimited internet, was like $120/mo. i cut the tv back to the better package but there's nothing on tv anymore. i think that they have got the "oh i'll cancel" threat so much that it doesn't even phase them anymore. no home phone, not needed, what should i be paying if i wanted the best package again?

My 2-yr Rogers combo deal expired a few months ago ... and I'm paying thru the roof... ~$200 for Rogers TV (1 level above 'basic), internet (can't remember speeds), modem, 1 HD TV box (no PVR), 1 SD TV box ...
I gotta jump on the Bell deal or something ... $200/mth is f'ing nuts.
(Called Rogers a month ago re: the $99 gigabit deal, and they said nope, only new customers etc.)

start.ca is $50 for unlimited @ 30mbps, $40 for 200GB @ 15mbps

Still with teksavvy cable 30 for $47/month. (200g cap), for $53/month it's same speed and unlimited.
Been with them for I think 5 years now, no issues, haven't had the slow downs others complain about even during peak times I am downloading at the advertised speeds from torrent clients even.
Customer service is definitely top notch.

I'm gonna try eBox and see how it goes. $42.95 (with the group price) for 30mbps and 250gb cap. I'm basically paying the same right now for 100gb with Rogers. No install fee from eBox either.
Teksavvy is $46.95 for 200gb
Start is $50 for unlimited (probably overkill)

i've actually switched from ebox to carrytel. no problems whatsoever. $40/month unlimited for 100mbps.
if you're going with ebox and need a modem,, i have a thomson modem 4300 that can be yours for dirt cheap. i only used it for less than 1 year.

im still on rogers 100u with basic tv for $99/month, ends in 2018
changed cell phone to 4gb individual plans vs 6gb shared for $100/month

switching providers every 2 years is prob gonna be the norm until a true reliable iptv provider shows up
