Parking at Pearson for a week.. Suggestions?

Heading down to Sandals Whitehouse for a week end of Nov and wanted to figure out parking at Pearson. Is it worth it to use the covered parking at Pearson? The last time I used Park'n'Fly, someone backed into my Jetta and dented the hood. I know some of you guys are frequent flyers, any tips/tricks would be appreciated. We're also thinking of staying the night before near (or at the airport) can I pay extra to leave the car at the hotel for a week?

Re: Parking at Pearson for a week.. Suggestions?

Park n fly is shit and if you care about your car, pass. Seems like you always roll the dice on coming back to a damaged car.

I park at pearson, YOLO.

Your hotel will offer parking for sure and it's pretty cheap. Definitely your best bet imo $$$ wise.

If you are paying for the hotel though, might as well just park at the airport and not get a hotel if that helps

Pearson Value Garage.

If doing the hotel thing, make sure they have covered parking. Fuck parking outside for a week and coming back from a tropical vacation to a car covered in snow and ice and trundling along with a bunch of luggage through a shitty outdoor parking lot.

did something similar to this - http://www.travelzoo.com/ca/local-deals/Toronto/Getaway/237133?tz_adid=2363077 - in June when the GF and I went out to BC

our flight was at 7 so this was a no brainer to stay near by....and you just park your own car in the hotel parking structure

the hotel wasn't the nicest but we were literally there from 11pm - 545am so it didn't even matter

I can get covered parking at Pearson for $108. Not to shabby, I just wish I had a promo code to save a bit more. I really don't want to come back to a car covered in ice/snow.

if you're not too concerned about park n' fly, go to their website and do a quote.

and then go to the cheapest option, and 9/10 times it'll have a coupon to upgrade to the valet service for only $20 extra, which will end up costing you less than the mid grade one but you'll get the full valet service.

if you're one of those car message board guy that thinks their car is the be all end all of automotive excellence, you may not want to do that because you'll have to leave your key.

Just found a promo code on RFD for parking at Terminal 1 for $111. I think I'd do that. Closer then the other lot for only $3 more.

$111 is not bad.

Leaving next week to punta Cana and we are using the fob equivalent of uber ants going to be $110 round trip. I would take my car instead but the mazda2 isn't big enough lol

my friend's parents used chinese uber and it was pretty shitty. fob dude that doesn't speak a lick of english, didn't say a word the whole drive, they dropped me off at my place and waited til the absolute last possible second to get on the spadina off ramp...and all of this is being done in a pretty poorly kept Dodge Caravan, but it cost only like $60 from Pearson to Markham with a downtown drop off at 1 in the morning....so it depends on how much you value your money over everything else.

111 at the terminal is pretty good yeah

we usually use the one on viscount rd. then tram it over (cheaper cause it's further).

otherwise used park N fly or the other one ... i forget the name but they have a blue logo and i think you have to be Somalian to work for them (as it seemed lol). good parking service as they did "valet" for dropoff / pickup at their lot but holy shit their bus service suuuucked to pick u up from the terminal. (something to think about bill if you use of of these services). the park n fly green buses were like 4-1 or 6-1 coming/going for pickup in abotu 30mins.

when i flew out of porter to NY at like 4am i uber'd it, but canceled and called the guy directly, $40 from maple to porter. i made sure to save the guy's phone number so i'll china it down to the airport if i don't want to inconvenience uncle.

I use the Value Park and take the 2 min tram to the terminals. Park on level 4 because that's the tram level.

Re: Parking at Pearson for a week.. Suggestions?

Less than 4 days. = Viscount Rd (airport terminal parking, Value parking)
More than 4 days = Park n fly, gotta be smart on spot location.

More than a week, it's cheaper to take Uber/ Taxi, get a buddy to drop off and/or pick up.

M-Sport with added heat would be killer. Just gotta get someone to re-wrap it after adding heat. Really shouldn't be a big deal, or you just pick up a Z4 E89 steering wheel.

< 3 days = valet, only $120 and you get free bottled water, comes handy after a dehydrating flight, leave $10 in the cupholder and your car is right at the doors when you return
> 3 days = cab, only $100 round trip and don't have to load/unload luggage

It's much thicker than the standard wheel, I wonder how effective the heating element would be.
