What's on your list? I actually don't have much on my list except: snowblower, and some ceiling lights </GettingOld> Picked up a jacket and a leather wallet this past wkend... Might pick up an all-in-one PC for the entertainment system, or a cheap (smaller) LCD TV, but nothing I'd want to do mad lineups for. |

Our TV is kinda on the fritz so I might be looking at getting a new one, but I haven't bought a TV in 10 years so I have no idea what to look for or what is deemed a good deal. |
I'll buy stuff online, but you won't see me in any lineups. Yesterday one of the stores I shop at occasionally had something like 60% off everything in-store. I walked into the store, saw the checkout lineup at least 40 people deep, turned around and walked right back out. |
Mental SPC card note: If you're ever planning on going to a Premium Outlet (i.e. Halton Hills, etc), go to their site, sign-up online, and get a coupon to submit to the Info Desk to get the coupon booklet free. (Normally $5 ...) Or, bring your CAA card, same shit. (At least @ Halton Hills) The coupons are usually stackable at the stores ... Halton Hills Kate Spade had 50% off everything, plus a stackable 20% off coupon in the booklet. |
Or just show them your CAA card. I've got the "VIP Coupon Book" at my desk right now. Not every store is in it (ie: no Nike), and most of the deals are pretty weak on their own (10% off, $15 off $100 or more etc.). But if you can stack them with the in-store discounts it's not so bad. Most of the decent in-store sales happen on the weekends. |
Ya a big no to going to stores. Online or nothing. |
Nothing on deck for now. Will wait for boxing week deals. |
Moto gear that's it |
I need a bunch of shit for the reno (hood insert, microwave, etc). I doubt I'll find any great deals on them. |
Online is the way to go. |
in America for the week, will probably do some black friday shopping but not at stores with line ups |
what's the deal? do people still line-up over night to get into stores? do the stores observe regular hours or some midnight thing? |
last year when i was here for thanksgiving, people were waiting outside bestbuy on thursday night in the early evening.... |
online only, fuck going out for stuff/lineups. don't need anything that badly. same goes for boxing day. may as well just go next day since most places are boxing week now. |

There was a groupon for gostco membership just last week. $55 for a membership with a $10 gift card, a roast chicken, a salad and some coupons. I don't like the shit show, but a membership at that price seems ok. MBP, I think BB has it for about $50-150 off right now. That's as much as they'll ever discount. |

Best Buy disabled our corporate discount code one day early. So no stacking for me. I'm so I'm not going to do anything about it and instead, will continue living my normal, everyday life. |

Has anyone tried an electric, battery-operated snow-blower/thrower? I'm considering them but the cost of a second/replacement battery is insane. (it's on par with buying a razor + blade replacement conundrum.) If I'm picking up one of these, the portability would make sense - sis lives about 10 mins away...Throw it into the trunk, and do her area as well. My area is (smaller) ~3-car driveway + sidewalk. |

Tech isn't there yet. ~30 minutes on a charge, and not powerful enough to do a real snowfall. |

Got a battery operated one. Snow Joe from Lowes. Great reviews. Heard about it from a friend last year and bought it on sale. Now I actually look forward to clearing snow from the driveway. But I have a small driveway so that's why this works for me. |

Yup I have the snow joe battery operated one as well. Bought on clearance for $100 reviews look to be pretty good, we'll see if it ever snows. |

Grab the dewalt 20v brushless trimmer. Picked one up this summer and did my whole backyard which was full of weeds up to my knees. No issues at all. |
screw that. i might bite the bullet and buy a stihl gas trimmer. it'll last me forever i can give it to my grandkids lol the battery ones are great during the first year, second year it meh, third year you want to hulk smash it. |

Lithium or lead acid? That makes a huge difference. |

Best Buy shit the bed BIG TIME last night. Their site was absolutely brutal. Doing anything within the first 20-30 mins was pretty much impossible. The next 30 mins, the site was at least browsable but your couldn't purchase anything. |

i checked out from the BB website at around 2:40am ... T_T |

Haha, I browsed the BB site this morning. "All soundbars on sale" means some are $50-$100 off.... some are $2-$7 off. |

I dunno about anyone else but I didn't really find much of a deal on anything. Bluenile for example had a 'sale' on the xmas gift I just bought the gf last week. It was more then I paid by about $25 |

People are fucked. It could have been boxes of horse shit advertised as 90% off and people would fight for it, as long as in their head they think they somehow beat the system and got a great deal. That said, I ordered window coverings for my basement from justblinds.com because they were 20% off lol FUCKING DEAL OF THE CENTURY!!111111!!!! |
