I know what you mean, I get blue mountain and kona beans from gold star coffee on chesswood ( http://www.goldstarcoffeeorders.com/main.sc ). I have a mid level breville machine at home and I can't even drink timmies anymore, it tastes like shit I'd like to get a separate grinder and espresso machine, and just use the breville at the cottage. |

Don't drink coffee. I've tried to get into it, but can't stand it. I will have the odd double espresso shot just to get back on track, but it ends there. /yep a cool guy over here. |
i was a cup a day guy but over the last few weeks, i've been trying to cut down. not just cause of the caffeine, but mainly the cream and sugar. i'm down to about 3-4 a week, usually when i'm bringing the kids to some after school class where i'm just standing around and waiting. during the day at work i'll just have some tea leaves. |

Tea >* When in Europe doe, coffee non stop |

morning have 1 cup, then during the day another, don't prefer timmies but if its close by I will grab one. No coffee snob here, the caffeine is niiiice when your running on fumes Sometimes I drink matcha green tea in smoothies at home and that is a good pick me up too |

My buddy got married at sassafraz and I was passing out by the end of the night, asked for a double espresso and it was game.fucking.over. Drove wife home at 3am (I was the DD) and told her no way i can sleep, i think i drove to Barrie and back like 2 times that night, came home at 6am. never again |

1 cup a day for me (McD coffee) -- I don't consider myself hooked on it, but rather using it as an excuse to get away from my desk and go for a walk w/ coworkers. Back in the day I used to do double-double Tim's -- now w/ the McD coffee; it's 2 milk, 1 sugar. |

Yes it tastes stronger, but espresso is so much better for you and that's why I make the switch doe. Plus it helps to keep ya regular first thing in the morning. Sauce: https://www.kickinghorsecoffee.com/en/blog/caffeine-myths-espresso-vs-drip Quote: However, when you get down to numbers the amount of caffeine is greater in a drip cup of coffee. One 2 oz double espresso shot has about 80 milligrams of caffeine. Whereas a 12 oz brewed coffee has about 120 milligrams. So actually there is more caffeine in an average cup of drip coffee than in espresso. But, that doesn’t seem like a fair comparison given the difference in volume. I wonder how you'd react to a starbucks' house blend coffee bc that coffee has more caffiene than any other chain coffees. You'd probably end up driving all the way to Ottawa and back just to cut the rush doe. |

I've only had a few sips here or there (to see if I can get into it). I don't like the smell, taste or aftertaste. Not sure how I got through all nighters in school or heck even now at work. As for tea, I only drink it if I am sick and need something to warm me up. Yes I know I'm lame |
The darker the roast the less caffeine there is. |
I don't drink coffee, but I do drink a lot of green tea, frappuccino from Starbucks |
I start getting headaches at some point in the day if I don't have a cup. I get a Starbucks on my way to work in the path. Getting a fancy $8 drink every 12 is a nice perk as well. I have one a day, 7 days a week, poker nights, I get another. |

Drink McD's at work with my co-workers, usually just one a day. Shit is marginally better than tims IMO. It use to be better but something changed also fucking inconsistent brew all the time. McD's really sucks at everything they do lol |

i have a keurig at home and mainly use that, but i'm not an 'everyday' coffee drinker. i like van houtte swiss water organic decaf (good for a decaf lol), but mainly i just get caribou coffee kcups, i find them very good. otherwise if nothing else to buy i'll just use starbucks blonde/veranda, bob marley variations or donut house. green mountain makes so many 'brands' anyways as it is. once in awhile i'll make a lavazza or something. the rare time i buy coffee outside, i do like mcD's over tims for sure. if not just the usual starfucks or seattle's best. i stick to tea as daily myself. takes me awhile to use up those kcups lol. |

When I'm 'in the zone' on a fast-paced project .... I start coffee at 8-9am (usually medium 2 milk 1 sugar), then I do the office coffee about 1 every 1-2 hours ... That's on top of pre-workout mixes when I'm at the gym, and a RedBull before my paddling practices ... Yeah, I'm kinda fucked. Dem old bones need a boost all the damn, fucking, time. |

Coffee addict here, purchase a bag a week from either Trebilcock and Social. Used to drink with milk and sugar but after having the good stuff I no longer need it. Way better and cheaper than Charbucks, McDonald's et al. |

I unfortunately get Timmies still in the morning, mainly because it is across from work and I'm hella lazy. Timmies is the only time I ever have anything in my coffee. Everywhere else, restaurants/home etc is just black. Timmies needs additions to make it drinkable. |

Had to scrape the last bit of grounds out of my tin today. Thought we had another one in the storage but I guess wife didn't pick up any. Coffee is a bit watery today but having tea as a substitute is just not the same. |

During last Roll up the a Rim season, I had 1 cup of Tims coffee. I tried their new Dark Roast, black. It tasted so awful, I had to put sugar and milk. When it's not Tim Hortons, I drink it black. |

Which beans have you tried from the GTA? I usually buy from Social on West Beaver Creek, which I believe supplies Dineen on Yonge/Temperance with their beans but I'm getting bored of their beans.t |

Plus it doesn't help that's theres a tims inside of the hospital, a 2 min walk from my desk. The only saving grace is that it's high volume so 80% of the time it's fresh and not that nasty burnt crap that's been sitting around for hours. |

I drink every kind of coffee. In the mornings i usually brew my own, pack it in a tumbler ( 16oz). Down a cup before i leave. Off to work i go. Around 4-5pm, i get another coffee from (tims, Mcds, Sbuxs, or small cafe's) Been hitting up Sbux/cafe's lately for the Cold Brews. I've noticed that i've had a problem with this, so 4 days ago, i decided to quit, cold turkey. I think i could be drinking close to a liter of Coffee a day, consistently. Today is day 4, it's a lot better. Day 1 was brutal. I drink it black. All black. The morning coffee cup before i leave for work is purely for the effect, so it's double double (at home - i just straight up down it, it's the left over from not fitting in the tumbler). Ever since quitting. I've noticed (Oh i drink or at least try to drink 1-3liters of water a day) that i do not pee as much for the past 4 days. My headache is close to gone. BUt we'll see. I'll update as time goes by. |

Good stuff man, keep at it! Takes 30 days IIRC to change a habit. |

i was watching this on youtube. Your Brain on Coffee Which got me thinking if i kill the habit and just get good sleep for energy. (it's only 3 mins) |

Update: Noticed i snack a lot. Though, i snack on fruits (at the office). IT's very hard for the self control as the office has got junk food as well. I didn't think i had anxiety, ever. But i feel like i'm a lot more calm, my energy (with a good 7 hours of sleep) is consistent throughout the day and at night my sleeps are a lot better. It's hard, i want to buy a coffee everyday in the mornings. Instead i substitute this with a Greens drink (Greens + extra energy). |
