I've always liked the second-gen. My submission: Warning, Spoiler: |

TL went from: 1. elegant and understated 2. sporty 3. WTF why isn't a whole group fired for this 4. now starting to come back to decency with the TLX |

I agree most mitsubishis don't age well at all. SUVs and trucks usually age the best out of common cars because their shape is always similar I know they're gone but all pontiacs aged poorly very quickly. Also cadalliac. The newest gen are much better but unsure on how they will age. The previous gen is super aged already. |

That third gen turd, someone fucked up big time, i mean wtf is that, i'd rather have a late 90's corolla before that piece of shit. |

They weren't for sale in canada we got the eagle talon. They are known for terrible reliability though. |

Overhyped reliability issues (depending on which model though ) |

Those are all decent but far from stunning, imo. Maybe the LFA? Hard to think of one |

C5 vette. Even a base c6 isn't faring to well. |
The C6 exterior looks great in grand sport trim still. Especially considering how old that design is. The only thing that makes it suck is the interior and colour matched headlights. Why anyone including Ferrari thought that would look good is beyond me. |
do you think the IS300 was more awe dropping when it was released than the IS350? LFA looks so.. blah compared to other supercars. the new subbie sti... i dunno, doesn't do anything for me. |
ya none of those cars look better than their older generations. I'm going to compare LFA to Supra |

I kinda thought the Mazda 3?! The first example in this thread is spot on. |

Mini Cooper was best with the original rendition vs any newer re-imagined model. arguably, same with the 911 XD *ducks* +Ferrari California +E type +All nissan Z cars (S30 was da bombbbbbb) +Merc SL (300sl) And regarding "stunning" current japanese cars, I don't believe there are any that are in line with something like a 3rd gen rx7, the last supra, the original nsx, sc430 etc. |

those are pretty much the most reliable cars ever made in the history of the universe. |

+1 on the tsx Another car that aged well IMO is the 1994-1997 accord. To this day that car has a very timeless and modern shape. Too bad people never capitalized on the potential by modding them nicely. The Acura 2.2 CL of that era wouldn't look out of place today either. Always wanted an accord with a h22 |
^truth. always wanted to mod one of those. they can look super clean. (minus the chromes) |
