2) not driving according to the road conditions (plowed road doesn't mean its free of ice)
3) not putting on winter tires to help with inability to drive on all-season tires in said condition

I wear my ski jacket when it's extremely cold.
Got it at half price near end of the winter a couple years back.
It's light, durable, and water proof.

There are way too many people in CG jackets.
Unless they sell ones with black labels again, I won't be wearing it.

For those of you who are poor I recommend the windriver parka from mark's. Regular is $300, on sale every winter between $99-$150. I've had mine for a few years now and use it on cold days like today, solid jacket, very good quality, it also has fantastic customer reviews.
