You can change the V-Tech in your Si pretty easily. May I suggest the Learning Laptop? They're only about $40:
As for the i-VTEC [Intelligent Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control] mechanism your engine employs: You bought the wrong car and your VTEC works in a completely different way, switching between opening a single intake valve a tiny amount in 'ultra economy' mode below 2200rpm (basically behaves like a 12 valve engine) to opening both intake valves a very small amount above 2200 (behaves like a 16 valve engine) There is absolutely nothing to be gained by mucking around with changing the cam lobe crossover engine speed on your engine, as it is designed to produce a semblance of low-end torque and provide good fuel economy, unlike the K20A2 which is designed to flow well and produce power.
If you want more power, swap a K20A2. And change out the bottom end to a K24 while you're at it. (More displacement makes low-end torque better than atrophied intake cam design) And maybe swap the gearbox from the Type S. Six speeds are all the rage, you know.
