EX converted

long story short....i wrecked my red 2000 civic si a few years ago that i had purchased off the showroom floor with 0 miles. I picked up a cheap 99 EX and
purchased my si back from the insurence company for $1500 which was a steal!
my suspension cost more than that. I have taken every part off my si and swapped
it over to the ex. while the engine was out i rebuilt it for boost.

Re: EX converted

so are pre 2001 motors still useful? I just went to a Honda tuner the other day and all they're doing are K Swaps into CRXs.

Good job on boosting dude, you'll love it. I miss my SI too.

K series are still expensive compared to their b series counterparts. A lot of people are still making great power on them.

Re: EX converted

So what kind of power does this engine/turbo set up produce?

I'm guessing by skimming through his pics, and giving a rough estimate, no more than 500whp.

So let's say 350-450whp.
