So I needed some Creatine. After a long day of all sorts of shopping, I didn't go to my usual place, just walked into a place closer to home.

Guy greets me and asks what I am looking for. Creatine. He shows me where it is (like I couldn't find it). I glance and notice no prices - great. He then grabs a jar and tells me "this is your best value". It's a kg of micronized monohydrate. Wife asks how much - $95. WTF? Are you crazy? I told him that's too much. he then tries to tell me about the "delivery system" and how you can mix this one with protein and you can't with others. How this one is the best, blah, blah. I told him what is the cheapest container. $55 (which is hardly cheap). I grabbed that one.

He then keeps rambling, like I give a fuck about how with this one, I need to take it a certain way with a certain amount of juice at a certain time of day blah blah blah.

I'm not the foremost expert, but 100% pure micronized creatine mono is 100% pure micronized creatine mono. One does not have a benefit over the others.

Fuck these dorks and their BS selling. He tried to sell my wife some protein powder that was over $100 for about 4 pounds. LOL!

Don't buy supplements from a brick & mortar store.

Ever.

Makes me want to own a supplement company and rip people off. But I would feel bad doing it.

$25 a pound protein? Damn. I thought ON was too high at $95 for 10 pounds.

People like that make me mad. I'm sure the boss tells them to upsell, but it just pushes people to buy online.

Buying online is the only way to go.

I buy Protein from Costco and it's not too bad. 4.4 lbs and $40.

I typically buy creatine from the same store that has the best online prices, but it was getting late and I just wanted to get my list done - so I went to a store close to me. Fucking joke.

It's worse when they can't put a price on it and snake oil people into BS. I've bought creatine from a grocery store and it worked fine (and was cheaper than this dump).

wait, you paid 55 bucks for creatine?

I think I paid like... 15 from amazon? for ON, enough to last me half a year atleast.

Hate this shit. They thrive on the masses of people who know nothing about the products and buy a whole bunch of things and never see progress.

This may be out of date, but I remember being told years ago that creatine goes bad after a while... If that is true... or even if it isnt... how much would you buy when you know your getting raped on the price? I mean... unless its like a lifetime supply gallon jug.

I had a similar episode awhile back at gnc. I stick to online now and avoid the 19 year olds behind the counter.

The supplement industry is a joke. Magic pills that do nothing other then emptying your wallet are legal to sell
