Tonight I rolled for the first time in two weeks after having a mole on my back removed. In between rounds I sit down and notice that my pinky toe is numb. I push on it and it easily moves side ways above the joint. So I squeeze it a bit and there was sharp pain. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but my next Tough Mudder is this Saturday.
Would you run the tough Mudder with a broken pinky toe?
i broke my pinky toe jumping into the pool once. slipped on the wooden deck and kicked the coping on top as i went in. toe was bent 90 degrees to the right. my step dads cuz is a ortho surgeon. went to his house, he snapped it back, taped it up and i went and raced motorcycles the following weekend so you will be fine!
I've lost count of how many times I've played soccer with a broken toe. Tape it up and move on.
Yes this. I think you'd be surpised how many times you have actually broken a toe and not known. I went to the doc for some foot pain back in high school and I had several broken. Just lol and move on.
I wouldn't run a tough mudder at all. But if I was stupid enough to want to? I surely wouldn't let a pinky toe hold me up. Pussy
I guess my first question should have been who has/would/could run a Tough Mudder. Then if you answered yes above would you run it with a broken pinky toe?
This is my second TM this year, so I know what to expect. WWAD (What Would Art Do) is what I keep asking myself.

I could run one, I just ran a 1/2. I trail run, I rock climb, rock scramble.
I just think it's fucking stupid. Hey guys, lets eagerly subject ourselves to fake hazards in a controlled environment. Not for training, but to say I'm tough. OH, hold it. I can't run the race, my pinky toe hurts!!

I keep hoping this post is a joke.
Nope it's a real question centered on could I make things worse by running with a broken toe. To my knowledge I have never had a broken toe so I was not sure of the protocol for getting it to heal properly.
I am not sure how many people to do it be tough but I do it because its different and challenging.
