I am preparing to move across the country and am planning to install a trailer hitch on my civic SI. While I have read it isn't condoned by Honda i'm sure its possible I was just wondering what weight I can pull, 1000lbs or 2000lbs? I'm pretty sure a regular civic can pull 1000lbs, do our engines allow us to pull 2000lbs?

Please bear in mind this is just a one way trip so I will probably never use the hitch again after this and have it uninstalled.

Would appreciate any advice!
