I don't think the dealer can help you with that. I had a brand new gauge cluster installed in my Si (after it got stolen/stripped). I asked if they could do that to match my milage too, but they don't do that to prevent any fraud when a car goes on resale.

Yeah, you just have to install it with whatever it displays. And you must get official correct documention from someone (I guess the dealer or something) for the difference in miles.------------------ In response to whether jtmoe should sleep with a Microsoft employee's wife... Thanks for your replies. I really like the style/look of the Si cluster, but I'm one of those detail freaks that can't stand that much of a difference in miles. Hmmmm, what do

Oh, and just a warning, under inspection, you can tell if a gauge cluster has been tampered with or not.------------------ In response to whether jtmoe should sleep with a Microsoft employee's wife... It can be done.IT IS AGAINST THE LAW! but if you take the cluster apart and take out the speedometer section where the numbers are, you can pull them apart and roll them to the number you want. ------------------ Y2K VSM SiR

I hear you all on the warnings. I realize that tampering with an odometer is a criminal offense, even if I'm adding miles. Trust me, I'm the last person to get involved in criminal activity but some people (on other boards, granted) have told me that the dealers will do it for me. If the dealer does do it, perhaps there is paperwork they sign and notarize.Hell, maybe I should just keep my EX gauges, get NR white face guages, modify the tint strip above to shine more light, paint the stock white needles red, and sell the Si cluster on Ebay A real shame, seeing how much I like the Si cluster....... We'll see.... Thanks again for the info.....
