I did a search and didnt find too much info about the sound and reliability of the Tanabe Racing Medallion's compared to other Tanabe cat-backs.If anyone has one or knows someone with one plz feel free to post anything you feel about it
BTW: Mostly curious about the sound. Thx

It really depends on what you like , I personally dont like the Racing Medellian.
Its too loud, but my friend has a G power madellian (Sp?) on his GSR and it sounds sooo sweet, if you dont mind the tip is a lil outdated.. kind of a oval shape.

but it sounds very unique and not too loud, I like the G Power a lot.

Heard good things about the hyper as well....

Yeah, I've got the G-power on my Si. Very pleased. The sound is smooth, not eardrum busting in the car. It seems to have added a tad of low end grunt, which is sorely needed on the Si.

I've got a TRM and i like it. It has a nice deep sound compared to the pissed off weed eater of a few exhausts. The muffler looks like a big thermos though.

No, no raspy sound. I hate that stuff too. It is mellow most of the time. I had a buddy stand on it and rev it out from a standing start while I stood there, and the exhaust tone is quickly overshadowed by the sound of the CAI, even from behind. I was nervous as hell about putting any aftermarket system on it, cause I didn't want to kill my ears while on the highway, but the G-pwr is no problem.

I have the TRM. I will admit, its pretty loud. But its all deep sounding, no weedwackers. It also has that awesome look.
