The new Nissan Z sounds almost too good to be true: est. 0-60 5.2 sec, ¼ mile 13.7 sec 168mph top speed, standard 18" wheels, Brembo brakes, leather, HID...and best of all, $29k MSRP!

I have decided to skip out on the RSX/WRX for this car...man, Nissan's on a roll!

Mazda is also supposedly making a new RX-7 called the RX-8. Now if Toyota would only bring back the Supra.

Don't forget the WRX STi!!!

There should be a lot of new Japanese super cars coming within the next couple of years.

New Nissan Z
Mazda RX-8
New Acura NSX
New skyline, unknown whether or not to be a performance car or a luxury car here in the U.S. though. Might be called the Infinity Skyline or the Infinity R34
Toyota 4300GT
WRX STI
Lancer EVOVII

Ah, it's just time to wait, and personally, I dont' mind the wait, cause I can't afford it anyhow. But, 3 years down the road??? Eh.. who knows!!??? I can't wait!

168mph top speed? wtf?!

do you honestly think that a Z car with that kind of performance will cost anywhere near what a RSX type S/WRX costs?

i don't think the z is coming with what you said because it hasn't been released at the auto show yet - next week i think, but it is gonna be a cool car. the price starts at 29, thats with nothing, then you start adding on into the 30's.

I mean Ive read alot about it (yes I already read the SCC article) and there has been a good amount of info posted here in the past. In one post a guy mentioned he talked to a dealer about it. I havnt heard it is going to be 35k anywhere! Ive heard around 27K. where are you guys getting the 35k price range from?
