my friend is looking for some new bulbs for his hatch but isnt sure what he wants, the bright white or bluish white? any suggestions on what he should get and will look the most appealing? thanks

Check out the Catz Zeta setup. Those look nice. I have a 92 Hatch with Catz hyper white in the front and turn signals. I like them alot. http://www.fet-usa.com/
stockers, unless you get the real HID lights, stick with the stock ones. At very least please don't get the xenon blue bulbs that give the inside of your headlights that blue tint, everytime I see some ricer with those I want to puke.
